Currently, Joel appears on a bi-weekly fitness segment on channel 4 WXJT in Jacksonville demonstrating fitness tips to the general audience. Channel 4 is the #1 independent station in America.
Upon graduation from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Joel embarked upon his career first coaching high school basketball and track in Illinois for nine years, before moving on to personal training. Joel entered the fitness industry and became a trainer specializing in training clients in their homes or personal facilities. He also became licensed to teach and certify personal trainers.
Joel's personal training experience ranges from beginner caliber clients to elite athletes who have played professional football and basketball. Unlike trainers who utilize traditional exercise programs that view the body as individual parts or groups, Joel views the body as a comprehensive unit. His individual programs are comprehensive and designed to help clients reach their fitness goals safely.
Joel's extensive experience in aerobic training, strength training, core development, and personal development have positioned him as an expert in cross training. As a Master Trainer for the ISFTA, Joel utilizes years of experience to successfully change lives and he has shown clients how to enjoy living healthier by reaching their fitness goals!
