Salad dressings are simple to make and also easy to
modify. Create your own salad dressing by adding new ingredients or
substituting types of vinegars, etc.
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup olive or canola oil
2 tsp dried basil or
1 (3/4 oz.) pkg. basil leaves, torn or chopped
Pour vinegar into bowl, jar or tupperware container.
Stir in sugar until completely dissolved.
Add oil, then remaining ingredients and shake or mix. Store remainder of dressing in
a jar or tupperware and shake before use. Should store for up to one week. |
